Gordon Ovenshine worked in the Public Relations Department at Slippery Rock University. As a writer, he contributed heavily to the Alumni Magazine, SRU press releases, and Public Relations photography. Overshine attended Slippery Rock University as an undergraduate, majoring in journalism.

In his interview, Ovenshine reminisces about college life in the 1980s, including working for The Rocket before the computer age, painting on dorm walls, and meeting his wife at SRU.
